A round robin is when a book owner has other artists work in his/her book. A serial round robin is when all the artists trade books and work in each others books. Click on the images below to see more photos and details. |

In the fall of 2003, eight women who knew each other from their local stamp store, My Heart's Fancy, formed a serial Round Robin. Each selected a journal or book to alter and a theme. We met monthly to explain our techniques and get the creative juices flowing. |
In 2005, we named ourselves after the ephemera we all collect but can't seem to let go of!! Hopefully someday soon you'll be able to see a slideshow of the pages - tho these require lots of editing cuz of all the funky shapes. |
In January 2006, we started an altered calendar serial round robin. Click on the photo to see a slideshow of some of the pages. Please note, some of the art is altered art found in the calendars, some is completely original. |

In 2007 we each started a canvas then passed it around the group and worked on each others canvases. It was pretty intimidating to work right on top of someone's work. At first we just worked in a corner but we got more brave as the year went on. Though some of us still think it's too scary to ever do again. (The idea came from the magazine CLOTH PAPER SCISSORS). This was done in another round robin group and is one of the prettiest altered books I'm ever seen. |
